Arsenal Spot

Mr Wenger at the end of the season said he wanted to sign  new players in time for them to join presaeson training.  So far one!! Now it appears we loose two established players to a team we shall be fighting with during he season. We give strength to an enemy without so far gaining strength ourselves. Our youngsters are good but for too long we have been hearing we need a couple of experienced big players - where ae they .Today he says I am focussed on fitness etc  weshall see what we need . Is there logic or a plan here? Lawrence J Beadle

I am a bit slow but I have just fathomed Hughes and M City plan. Weaken the opposition . Look at it. He has raided Arsenal - Man U - Chelsea-  Villa and is trying hard with Everton.What next.   Hope the big Managers see this - sure they do. Mr Wenger really must do something quickly now. Nevertheless I notice both the Arsenal signings will be engaged for at least a couple of months with the African Cup. remember how we suffered last season !!!!!!Lawremnce J.Beadle
