Okay, so after yet another year w/o a trophy, we need to step up some things during this offseason to ensure that we at least add one trophy to the cabinet in the 09/10 season.

Here are 3 important steps we need to take this summer.

Our Summer "To-do list"

#1: Bring Stan Kreonke on board

I know a lot of you are not in favor of foreign ownership, but its the future of the game and this guy isn't like the others.

A) He has cash

B) He has sports management experience

C) He has a great relationship with the board

With the cash, we could sign a number of players that we desperately NEED and sign some more for the future.

This Eden Hazard guy looks friggin amazing and he WANTS to come to Arsenal, Dezko will be WAY better Adebayor, we can sign Zappata, Yaya Toure, and then we would have a stacked, deep squad, ready to conquer Europe.

#2 Get a fitness/strength coach for the team

How many times do we see our players go off injured that derails our season.  Imagine if we had Walcott, Fabregas, Adebayor, and Clichy healthy ALL season.  No problem doing better than 4th with that.

Its a fact, the stronger and more flexible you are, the less easily you are injured.  Plus, how often do we see our team lose b/c the other team just had more muscle?  Its not like more muscle means less skill, if our team bulks up, we can fight out more wins.

#3 Rest, and prepare for the next season

Every year gets more and more competitive, just look at last season, in the middle, 10th place and 18th place was separated by what? 6 points? And the race for Europe was ultra tight as well.

The ensure that we are challenging for the title in May, we need a good start, and that begins with being physically and mentally ready.  No players getting hurt qualifying for the WC, and no blues about last season, or wanting to move to AC Milan, (Gallas and Adebayor, im looking at you)

With these three things done, I guarantee that we will  A LOT more competitive than last year, and probably win some of that elusive silverware.

Thanks for reading.

GunnerTom, give yourself a pat on the back because you wrote a pretty readable piece and to my consideration, one that needs the attention of more people.

So I have published your article on the main site  http://arsenalspot.net/2009/06/fans-view-arsenals-summer-to-do-list/

Now you will get more views, I'm sure.
